Recent statistics released on June 30, 2010 by the World Internet Statistics body shows that Nigeria now has approximately 44 million internet users as against 11 million users 12 months ago. This is a very encouraging growth in the Nigerian internet market and thanks to the rise in use of smart phones and cheaper/flexible internet service providers. Nigeria is finally taking center stage in the global internet market space.
